Not wanting to leave Buckley Bay too soon we took our time in the morning and caught the ferry from Duke Point south of Nanaimo to Tsawwassen south of Vancouver. It was a great ferry ride, and we ended up in Abbostford and had a great BBQ at the home of the Doull family (Kathy and Matt and their awesome kids James, Michael and Eric - Liam had some great kid time which he appreciated). They made us feel most welcome and it was great to be in a house. The pic is a view from the ferry.
